About This Event
Grammy Signature School Award winner, John Marshall High will present its 19th year of Bach, Rock, & Shakespeare Friday, May 27th, at The Greek Theatre, a unique display of youthful exuberance, after two-years of online concerts. The evening will be composed of a performance by the Marshall Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dee Dee Panero, in her last performance before retiring. The event will also include music students from Marshall feeder schools, including Irving Middle School as well as Lockwood, Los Feliz, Franklin, and Ivanhoe Elementary Schools, joining the Marshall Symphony on stage for a grand finale. Also featured are Marshalls Shakespeare class, teacher Adam Brock, the Marshall Dance Troupe, teacher Jill Diamond, the Marshall Jazz Ensemble, teacher Emerson Cardenas and the finals from Marshalls year-long and 25 years running, Battle of the Garage Bands contest, hosted by Mike Finn and Dee Dee Panero and judged by celebrity judges.
